Personal Data Assistant

Now you can enter your flight information on your Windows CE (IPAQ) or PalmOS (Handspring, Palm, Sony Clie etc) PDA and automatically download it into your Naval Aviator's Logbook during your Hot Sync operation. Enter data after each flight or as they are added into your logbook. Keep your logbook safe and pristine from coffee spills and crayons while you download your data at home. Added records will be available for review the next time you open Logbook before being entered into the main database table.

Palm OS

Just like Logbook, both Navy and civilian flights can be entered through a form and the model aircraft and bureau numbers of planes you frequently fly are available through linked tables that are also synchronized.

The Aviator's Logbook PDA program may also be used as a stand alone logbook program. It is a database itself and data can be filtered and totaled right on your PDA.

The PDA program is from Smart List To Go available from www.dataviz.com .  Be sure to get the full version (suite) in order to hot sync from handheld to the Logbook program.

Palm/Windows CE/Pocket PC Users

If you have an Excel spreadsheet application on your PDA you can use the spreadsheet Logcopy.xls included with the Logbook download.   See the help file for importing Excel spreadsheets for more information.
